Vinyl Greek Knee Draped Skirt

Hello everyone. Of course you know the drill, in order for something to be considered "Haute Couture" which is a high class, hand sewn garment sewn with "couture" techniques, or just by hand, it can only be considered this if the garment is made in France ( for those who did not know ). I do not know much couture sewing techniques, but I do know most of the simple hand sewing stitches, and see replicate the techniques that are obvious in garments. It does have slit to show the leg starting half way from the thigh. This design I created with a metallic vinyl.I have always loved Greek history being from the marble sculpted statues by Michelangelo and of Nike.

I love the draping details that are shown. In this piece, I en-captured that, and I am quite glad by how much I achieved it. The fabric does not create an itch. It is completely a draping fabric. It can also be worn two ways. The fabric draping can be worn/switched to both sides of the hip. The longest part of the skirt is 35 inches, and the shortest being 25 inches. I did make it where the waist size limit is 26½ inches or 26 exactly. Hip size also has a limit of 34 inches or smaller.

New Fashion Designs Hounds Tooth Pencil Skirt w/ Bow for sale on ETSY

Hello to all my fellow followers.
I know it has been a while since I had refreshed my blog with the status of thing's, but I am definitely remembering to post many thing's. I actually have stacks of information to pin up on here for your eyes. One of the many subjects I want to cover are Houston Fashion Week. I can not finish saying how much of a fun experience this was for me and the motivation, and high honor I had to volunteer for this. I basically feel like the most proud Lion posing nobly on a rock, with a fluffy chest hahaha! I do not want to post that late, so that will be coming. For now, I do want to update to all my audience that I have re opened my ETSY shop, which is getting items like fashion designs made by me consisting of hand sewing ( haute couture ) and also machine sewing. I am also still selling other vintage items that are hard to find. Right now I have blazers, and a hounds tooth print pencil skirt with a bow on the back that was basically made by draping ( without a dress form ). I mainly played with the fabric, and I really loved the outcome. It fits me like a glove which I am hoping fits others too. For me, it is hard to find clothes that are flattering, just because I have a naturally skinny body. Just like plump women, there are also those that just never gain any weight, so I am hoping that this skirt is purchased by someone that will be very happy with what they receive.

♥Make Up With Enhancing Benefits♥

Hello fashion lovers! I decided to
post up a review on this awesome product I bought from Aveeno, positively radiant. I bought this at a local target. I went in adventure for something else, which was a facial moisturizer with SPF coverage that also had the extra on illuminating skin to even out the tone, because of my past in playing tennis, and also when I work out. I am glad I took my time, as I always do when I go shopping for cosmetic products. I'm very wary burning money on cosmetic products too. This product claims that it has SPF 30 coverage, evens out skin tone for a more radiant look, and the bonus I didn't expect is the tint added. It only comes in two tones. I bought the fair to light tinted moisturizer since I tend to be very pale. I will be posting more reviews on it to see if I a difference shows. I did notice while I was out that it "caked", but apparently to someone I know, for these products you have to keep adding to your face. I'm not sure if that is true. I am kind of upset to see this come from this purchase, but the real purpose was for the sunblock, skin tone restoration.

Wondering When All the Important Fashion Weeks Take Place? Paris♥Milan♥New York♥London

I have finally decided to
make a schedule of all the most important fashion weeks where designers such as Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood, Jason Wu, Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, and more take place. I am glad I am doing this especially, because I hate that there are no websites that list all of the dates for these locations in one place. I hate having to flop around back and forth between pages, and then bookmarking all of them to see when the fashion shows take place. By then, I pretty much miss them, because there are so many websites showing single dates. Not all together. So, here we go fellow followers! I hope ya'll enjoy me taking the time to do this. I know this will definitely be a good note to go back to in the future myself. No longer will I flip through pages like a mad witch. It will be here to look upon whenever.♥♥♥

FASHION NIGHT OUT EXPLAINED♥♥

I am pretty anxious and
excited to really be celebrating my first Fashion Night Out for 2012. I had heard of the event last year, but never really heard of the meaning behind the whole bang. For those that still might be wondering what the heck is FNO, and is it just an excuse to dress up even more outrageously? You are kind of right about the second part. Fashion Night Out was created, and is stood by VOGUE magazine the creator, CFDA, and NYC & Company. This all started in 2009, when of course there wasn't much known of back then. It was made to be an INTERNATIONAL annual event to basically kick boom to the economy, and with those profits made on the day of FASHION NIGHT OUT, they are all given to charities for different causes. For example, FNO 2012 proceeds will be going to preventing AIDS and helping those affected, which is just great, and genius because fashion is internationally a money maker, and all for a good cause. Like I also said before, it is a day where you can also plan to wake up early, be waiting outside of stores waiting obsessively face against doors to get shopping on all those great deals that are done for this special day! YES! A lot of events like parties, sales, and more go on this same day!
This years FNO will be taking place on September 6th, and I have posted a link below where you can find local events near you, and also where you can see all the celebrities, models, signers, fashion designers that are supportive, and where they will be that day. You could even be lucky enough to meet some of them. Most likely if you line in NYC -_-....luck's. Most of the events in Houston, TX if you are local to this location will be taking place at the Galleria Mall. Practically all the stores will be doing something, and THANK THE FASHION GODS I will be available that day to spend all my energy shopping, taking advantage of the parties/events, then get found later in an alley passed out from exhaustion with bags all over me and piss from holding it in. J/K hahaha!
ENJOY!

James Franco tries at Fashion Clothing Line?

Recently, actor James Franco had decided
to collaborate with company 7 For All Mankind to create limited edition t-shirts. These t-shirts are designed with Polaroid stills taken by James Franco during a video/film shoot promoting the collection, that can also be viewed on YouTube or here! These designs are meant to embody the whole"California" feel ( you know?? like Pointe Break with Keanu Reeves? ), and you can get your hands on one of these mothers for $89. That is probably one of the most expensive t-shirts ( screen printed t-shirts ) I have heard of. If you are craving to jump into one of James Franco's works, you can on FASHION NIGHT OUT! Don't know what that is? I will explain in another post shortly. Tell me what you think of this clothing line? Should James Franco just stick to making films, acting in films, or is he super and mildly good at being a fashion designer??
